The shelter population has decreased through increased relationships with rescue groups and an increase in adoption events on and offsite. Additionally, through increased hours, new staff and volunteers, both paid staff and volunteers are working cohesively to achieve a better environment at the shelter.

An increase in adoption events and proactive efforts by all staff, has resulted in a reduced shelter population, improving the environment for our staff and animal friends. Additional cameras for security have been installed. New boilers were installed, converting from oil to natural gas to improve efficiency and costs. A new shelter computer program was installed to better serve the animals and create office efficiency.

An increase in adoption events and proactive efforts by all staff has resulted in a reduced shelter population, improving the environment for staff and animals. Continued facilities renovation for new dog pens and sturdy, stain resistant easier to clean flooring.

An increase in adoption events and proactive efforts by all staff has resulted in a reduced shelter population, improving the environment for staff and animals. Continued facilities renovation for new dog pens and sturdy, stain resistant easier to clean flooring. Created an Animal Shelter Advisory Committee with a current mission to improve outreach, to educate and promote spay and neutering, as such reduces overpopulation and is heathier for pets.
